Aid to the Church in Need

For over 10 years now, the diocese of Santissima Conceição do Araguaia in the Amazon region of Brazil has been training lay youth missionaries who can convey Christian teachings and values to their peers.

After a six-week intensive training course, these missionaries promise to serve the diocese for a full year.

But this mission needs support. Food, transportation, lodging and teaching materials for eight youth missionaries will cost $11,400.
