Prayer for Pope Francis

We ask the Virgin Mary, our Mother, to intercede on behalf of our beloved Pope Francis, for him to remain strong and to be a true example of God's love in our world.

We offer this prayer for him, for his health and for his ministry:

"O God, who in your providential design
established that your Church be built upon Peter,
whom you have chosen among the apostles,
Gaze with mercy upon Francis, our Pope.

Hear our prayer and grant to Peter's successor
that he may be to your people
a source of light and a strong foundation
of unity in faith and in communion with you.

In Christ, our Lord, Amen.
