Fundraising Honor Roll

Dear Family and Friends,

It's spring again, which means its time for the 2017 Roman Run!

The Roman Run is a one-day relay race across Italy, organized by seminarians and priests studying at the American seminary in Rome, to raise prayer and financial support for a part of the Church that needs our solidarity.

This year, the Roman Run is supporting the Archdiocese of Erbil in Iraq.  Erbil is where tens of thousands of Christian, Muslim, and other refugees have fled from the onslaught of ISIS.  The Archdiocese has taken on tremendous burdens in caring for the refugees--including housing, food, and building schools--with only private benefactors to help them.

My brothers and I in the Roman Run are partnering with Aid to the Church in Need, a Catholic charity under the guidance of the Pope which has been helping provide for the suffering Church since the 1940s.

Please consider joining our efforts as we train and race across the Italian peninsual this coming Saturday, May 6.  You can do so first by praying for the Archdiocese of Erbil and all those the Lord has brought to their doorstep, and also by praying for us in our work.  Secondly, please consider a financial contribution through this website.  100% of all donations will go directly to Aid for the Church in Need's projects in Erbil, and all gifts are tax-deductible.

Any sacrifice of prayer or funds, no matter how large or small, is greatly appreciated.  May the Lord bless you!

In Christ,
Christian
