Dear brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus and our Blessed Mother:
My name is Fr. Rodnev Lapommeray and I've taken on the challenge to help my parish raise funds to help youth deepen their faith by attending World Youth Day 2016 in Poland (WYD 2016), where they will hear the inspiring words of the Holy Father. Having attended two World Youth Days myself when I was younger, I know first hand how much of an impact such experiences can have on the lives of our young people. On behalf of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church located in the Woodside section of Queens, NY, I am asking for your support of Open Your Heart, Share His Light: World Youth Day 2016.
100% of your gift made through my page or our parish team will directly go to our parish to send youth to World Youth Day, via Aid to the Church in Need, a Catholic charity under the guidance of the Holy Father.
My fundraising goal is 500.00. With the support of friends and family, I can make this dream a reality.
