Fundraising Honor Roll

Dear Friends and Family,

I have an opportunity, along with my wife Carol and the Brooklyn Cluster Team, to venture on a spiritual journey of a lifetime. We have taken on the challenge to help our parish raise funds to help youth deepen their faith by attending World Youth Day 2016 in Poland, where they will hear the inspiring words of the Holy Father, Pope Francis.

If possible, we would love to be part of this amazing trip. Carol would be able to visit her father's ancestral homeland, a life-long dream of hers. We'll be staying in Kracow, but will visit other places, like the birthplace of Pope John Paul II, and even a trip to Auschwitz, which would mean so much to me. Another important stop will be to the Divine Mercy Shrine where Saint Faustina Kowalska lived, very special for both of us. At the end of the trip there will be a Mass and evening candlelight vigil with Pope Francis. On behalf of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish located in Brooklyn, NY, I am asking for your support of Open Your Heart, Share His Light: World Youth Day 2016.

100% of your gift made through my page or our parish team will directly go to our parish to send youth (and us) to World Youth Day, via Aid to the Church in Need, a Catholic charity under the guidance of the Holy Father.

My fundraising goal is $1,500. With the generous support of loved ones like you, I can make this dream a reality. To donate, click on the Support link at right. If anyone would rather donate offline, I have a form I can print out to give you that you can mail back with your donation.

Thank you and may God bless you,

Hiram

P. S. Every dollar you give (up to $100,000) will be matched by generous donors to Aid to the Church in Need and will be used to support suffering and persecuted youth and refugees in Syria, an issue of deep concern to the Holy Father.
