Please Help Iraqi Christians Return Home

On June 10, 2014, ISIS forces killed and looted their way through Mosul. Christians were told to convert to Islam or leave, abandoning their homes and possessions. On Aug. 6, 2014, ISIS swept across the Nineveh plains, forcing 120,000 Christians to flee overnight to Erbil, Kurdistan. Your support has helped care for them ever since.

Today, ISIS is on the run and the Nineveh plains have already seen the return of hundreds of Christian families. Please join in supporting the rebuilding of the nine Christian towns and villages on the Nineveh plains. The faithful of Iraq need your prayers and sacrifice.

Thank you and God bless you.

Support the Formation of 16 Young Novices in Ukraine

The Sisters of the Congregation of the Handmaids of the Lord and the Holy Virgin of Matará, who are based in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk in Western Ukraine, provide catechetical and religious instruction, organize retreat days and help young people to discern their vocation in life. They also care for orphans and for the sick and elderly, who often suffer great need in Ukraine.

Currently there are 16 young women in the novitiate, preparing to one day commit themselves permanently to the service of God and their fellow men.  Can you help?
